I will miss the man who enterains me in the mornings, the man who walks to work with me, talking nonsense most of the way, the man who reminds me not to take life quite so seriously, the man who plays me lovely music to raise my spirits, the man who frequently makes me laugh out loud, the man who tells me it's OK to grow older.... and dafter, the man who can eat curry and pork pies at 8am. See ya Terry!

It was on Terry's show where I first heard this beautiful singer Katie Melua, he played "The Closest Thing to Crazy" a lot in late 2003 to try and get it to that year's Christmas no. 1 spot. It only reached number 10, but Wogan's support raised Melua's profile and when the album 'Call off The Search' was released it was an immediate hit, getting to number one in the album chart in January 2004.

It's that time of year when lots of people take stock of their lives, emotions run high, changes that need to be made become more urgent, follow head.... or heart? Even a small change made in one life is guaranteed to affect a few others along the way, for better or worse.
